This is written in plain language on purpose. It covers os.careercreators.com and the Career Creators OS membership.
Your name and email when you sign up, register for a workshop, or join the mailing list. Payment details are handled by the payment processor (Stripe, via the Heartbeat community platform). I never see or store your card number. Basic anonymous usage analytics (via Vercel Analytics) to understand how the site is used. Content you choose to post in the community, and recordings of live sessions such as Office Hours and workshops, which are shared back with members.
To run your membership, give you access to the tools and community, send you the emails you signed up for (replays, updates, offers), and improve the product. That is it. I do not sell your data to anyone.
Only the service providers needed to run this: the community platform (Heartbeat), the payment processor (Stripe), the email provider, video hosting, and analytics (Vercel). Each handles your data under their own privacy terms.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; you will still get essential account emails while you are a member.
Client stories on this site are real and are published from public posts or with permission. If your story appears and you want it changed or removed, email me and it will be.
You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email joseph@careercreators.com and I will handle it within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with data protection laws, these rights apply to you as written there.
I keep your data while you are a member or subscriber, and for a reasonable period after for legal and accounting purposes. Data is stored with the providers above, who use industry-standard security.
This service is for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.
Career Creators is operated from Singapore, and this policy is governed by Singapore law, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Your data may be processed by providers located in other countries.
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and members get an email.
